Career Development
Career Development serves students and the community by connecting students and employers and helping students prepare to enter the workforce. However, we help with more than just getting a job when you graduate. Throughout your time at Pellissippi State, we will help you discover aptitudes that match your best-fit career pathway and then train you in the skills that you will need to succeed in the workforce. For instance, through our free workshop series you will have the opportunity to network with local businesses while they instruct you in topics such as resume writing, interview skills, and how to represent yourself in a professional environment. We host career fairs and teach job search strategies that connect you to on- and off-campus employment. As an alumnus, we can assist you in preparing to advance in your current job or help you seek a new opportunity.
