Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is accepting applications for two adjunct Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration instructors for the evening program.  These are both part-time positions working 15-20 hours per week in the evening at $25.00/hour.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED. Three years current work experience in all phases of industrial, residential, and commercial HVAC/R systems to include installation and service. EPA Universal Certification required. Possess organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective instructor. Demonstrated effective communication and organization skills. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited HVAC/R technical program. Earned Associates Degree from an accredited institution. Knowledge of Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) policies and procedures. Skill in managing deadlines and working in a team-oriented environment. NATE Certification a plus. General Duties: Provide instruction to students in all areas of the HVAC program curriculum. Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual students’ progress. Applicants will be admitted at 8:30 a.m. The written test will begin at 9:00 a.m. and should take about two hours.
